Jerome Daley

Outdoor enthusiast. Wine lover. Mystic seeker of silence and solitude. Contemplative theologian. Married to his muse Kellie, father of three, grandfather of one, Jerome makes his home in the mountains of North Carolina.

Professionally, Jerome is a mentor coach and spiritual director, retreat leader and transformational teacher. He is passionate about helping people know God, know themselves, and find their fit in the world. As a pastor, author, and soul friend, Jerome strengthens leaders in the journey toward true identity and vocational calling.

EXPERIENCE

Jerome has over 30 years in personal growth and spiritual development with a 10-year stint in church leadership. Following a year-long sabbatical in the mountains of Colorado, he spent the next four years as a full-time writer. Jerome is the author of 11 books, which you can find online here.

In 2005 Jerome founded Thrive 9 Solutions where he worked with Christian-led businesses, churches, and nonprofits. His specialties include the spiritual formation of a leader, culture-crafting, book publishing, and nonprofit board development. In 2007 Jerome co-founded and became Publisher for several years of Christian Coaching Magazine.

Between 2007 - 2012 he served as Senior Advisor and Adjunct Faculty at the Center for Coaching Excellence, based in Minneapolis. From 2010 - 2013, he partnered with Extraordinary! Inc. to deliver trainings and coaching to corporate clients along the East Coast. Following that experience, Jerome experienced a great awakening through the contemplative tradition of the ancient Christian monastics, which has inspired and informed his work ever since. Jerome and Kellie moved from Greensboro, NC to Boone, NC in 2016 and a couple years later opened several Airbnb properties, which are occasionally used as an intimate site for hosting spiritual retreats.

TRAINING

Jerome is a credentialed coach with certifications from the International Coach Federation (ICF), the Center for Coaching Excellence (CCE), and the Institute for Life Coach Training (ILCT). He is assessment-certified in EQi-2.0 and Professional Dynametrics Programs, but his tool of choice for personal and professional development is the Enneagram. With an undergraduate degree in business and masters in ministry, Jerome is also trained in conflict coaching and mediation through Peacemaker Ministries. Two 2-year programs in spiritual formation were instrumental in his development: the Second Breath Center in Greensboro and the Transforming Center in Chicago. More recently, he was certified as a Spiritual Director from the Phoenix Center for Spiritual Direction. Jerome is a lifelong learner.
